Currently, MouLynk is available for iOS devices. MouLynkCap works best on iPhone 6 and newer models, while MouLynkView works on any relatively recent iOS device. We're working on Android versions that will be released soon.
MouLynkCap can record footage locally without internet, but you'll need an internet connection to view live feeds or access recordings remotely through MouLynkView. For full functionality, we recommend keeping your capture device connected to Wi-Fi.
Storage usage depends on your recording settings. On average, continuous recording uses about 2-4GB per day at standard quality. MouLynk automatically manages storage by overwriting oldest recordings when space runs low.
Yes! MouLynkView supports monitoring multiple MouLynkCap devices simultaneously. You can create a comprehensive security system by positioning old phones in different locations around your home or business.
Absolutely. All video transmissions are encrypted end-to-end. Your footage is stored securely and never shared with third parties. You have complete control over your data.
Get the most out of your MouLynk devices
To ensure your MouLynkCap device stays online for continuous monitoring:
After opening MouLynkCap, use the [Power Save] button to turn off the screen while keeping the app running. Do not use the power button to lock the screen as this may suspend the app.
For best reliability:
- Insert a SIM card in your capture device
- Go to Cellular Settings
- Find "MouLynkCap" and enable "WiFi & Cellular Data"
This ensures continuous connection if WiFi drops
